What is the new renovation show in 2024?
Dream Home Australia is the new renovation show coming to Channel Seven, and it is set to rival Channel Nine’s renovation show The Block.

What is Dream Home Australia about?
Dream Home is a reality competition series where six teams of two will compete for $100,000.
As mentioned above, all six pairs will rebuild and redesign each other’s houses into dream homes – the goal is that all competitors walk away with a dream home and one lucky pair wins the cash prize for ‘best dream home’.
The show sounds somewhat similar to both Channel Nine’s The Block and the Channel Seven show House Rules, which ran from 2013 to 2020.
Who is the host of Dream Home Australia?
Dr Chris Brown will host Dream Home.

The veterinarian-turned-television-presenter previously worked for Channel Ten, hosting several shows between 2008 and 2023.
This included Bondi Vet, The Living Room and, most recently, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia.
However, last year, Chris announced he was leaving Channel Ten and would begin working for Channel Seven in 2024. It’s already been confirmed that this year he will host Dream Home as well as Dancing With The Stars, replacing Daryl Somers.
Joining Chris on Dream Home as judges are Lana Taylor of Three Birds Renovations, award-winning interior designer Rosie Morley, and top buyer’s agent Simon Cohen.
When is Dream Home Australia set to air?
Channel Seven announced that Dream Home Australia will premiere on Sunday, May 26th at 7pm on Channel Seven and 7plus.
