The Twelve, the popular Australian TV show, has released the official trailer for it’s upcoming third season!
Starring Sam Neill, this will be called The Twelve: Cape Rock Killer and and will feature eight one-hour episodes.

What is season three of The Twelve about?
The Twelve: Cape Rock Killer will see us learn a whole new side to Brett Colby (Sam Neill). In this season, he will be defending the husband of a life long friend who is accused of a heinous murder. But, as the trial begins, a cold case mystery begins to unravel. A 1968 murder of two teens will be ropened, the jurors and Brett all changed by the experience.

Where can I watch The Twelve in Australia?
Both the first and second seasons are available to watch on Binge. The third season will drop on Binge on August 4, 2024.

Is The Twelve a true story in Australia?
Despite its compelling narratives, no, The Twelve is a completely fictional TV show.
How many versions are there of The Twelve?
The Twelve was an Australian remake of the 2019 Belgian TV show De Twaalf (which translates to ‘The Twelve’ in English).
However, while both television shows follow the 12 jurors deliberating on a murder trial, the plots are quite different.
In the original version, the series focuses on the trial of Frie Palmers. Frie was a school headmistress accused of two murders committed many years apart. Those of her best friend in 2000 and her daughter in 2016.
Whereas the first season of the Australian version focused on the trial of Kate Lawson — who is accused of killing her 14-year-old niece.

Who stars in the TV show The Twelve?
The series has a seriously impressive cast.
Lead by Sam Neill, season one stars Kate Mulvany, Marta Dusseldorp, Brendan Cowell, Brooke Satchwell, Hazem Shammas, Pallavi Sharda, Ngali Shaw, Catherine Van-Davies, Damien Strouthos, Nicholas Cassim, James Lugton, Bishanyia Vincent, Gennie Nevinson and Toby Blome.

For season two, Sam was the only actor to return. Joining him on the cast were Frances O’Connor, Tasma Walton, Kris McQuade, Amy Mathews, Erroll Shand, Fayssal Bazzi, Josh McKenzie, Anthony Brandon Wong, Stefanie Caccamo, Sharon Johal, Luke Pegler, Adriano Cappelletta, Nelson Baker, Greg McNeill, Suesha Rana, Brad Francis, and Isabelle Basen.

And for the third season, Sam will once again be the only returning cast member.
