After a decade in business, Susie Cave’s label, The Vampire’s Wife, will be ceasing production. Susie, who is a former model and the wife of Nick Cave, announced the brand’s closure on Instagram writing:
“After ten years as The Creative Director of The Vampire’s Wife, it is time for me to say goodbye. I say this with great sadness and want to express my undying gratitude to you all for your support.
I wish to thank my extended family at The Vampire’s Wife who helped me create such beautiful things. I cannot describe how much you have all meant to me.”
During the label’s tenure, celebrities like Kylie Minogue and royals such as Catherine Middleton have all donned pieces by The Vampire’s Wife. The brand also designed its iconic Falconetti dress which Vogue dubbed as the ‘dress of the decade’.
