Everyone and their mother seems to be excited for the upcoming film Barbie, starring Australian actress Margot Robbie as the titular character and directed by Greta Gerwig.
And as a part of that excitement, an incredible fashion trend has emerged: Barbiecore.
What is Barbiecore? Essentially, it’s an outfit that has an abundance of vibrant hot pink; also known as Barbie Pink.
But Margot has taken Barbiecore to new heights during her Barbie press tour and isn’t just rocking pink outfits. She’s instead been wearing ensembles that have been inspired by iconic Barbie doll outfits.

Clearly, Australian fashion brand Review has followed Margot’s lead as it’s released a stunning collection of dresses which have all been inspired by the golden years of Barbie.

This dress was also inspired by the first-ever Barbie doll but is much more modest than the one Margot recently wore. The 1959 Roman Holiday set is one of the rarest Barbie outfits and it’s what inspired this Review dress. Made from a soft cotton fabric, the Roman Holiday Dress features a classic collared neckline, elbow length sleeves with turned up cuffs, button closures at the centre front and a rose gold Barbie silhouette head sewn onto the hem.
