Billy Crystal has shared how Princess Diana reacted to the now infamous fake orgasm scene in his 1989 film When Harry Met Sally.
Appearing on The View on October 23, Billy first recalled how the late Princess of Wales attended the London premiere of the film and ended up sitting between him and Meg Ryan.
“So we sit together. She’s on my left and Meg is on her left,” Billy began.

“So we sit down together in the balcony in the theatre. And the trumpets are blaring as we walk in, which happens in every movie theatre. And Meg’s like – she’s so cute – leaning in front like, ‘Do you believe who she is?’ It’s crazy.”
Billy then added that all eyes were on Diana as the scene where Meg’s Sally loudly fakes an orgasm in a deli to prove a point to Billy’s Harry played on screen.
“And then the deli scene happens and the whole audience below us is now looking back to see how the princess is going to react to Meg faking the orgasm,” he said.

“So she starts laughing – a big laugh,” Billy ultimately revealed.
“[It was] the kind of laugh that if we were dating, I wouldn’t see her again. Cause I’d go, ‘The laugh. She’s beautiful but the laugh,’” he then joked.
“But it was spectacular, a spectacular evening, and so great to meet her.”

This isn’t the first time Billy has publicly reminisced about his encounter with Diana.
During an interview with People for their When Harry Met Sally: 30th Anniversary Special Edition, Billy shared that Diana called him naughty right before the film began.
“The lights went down and she whispered to me, ‘I’m taking my shoes off.’ So I went, ‘I’m taking my pants off.’

“And she goes, ‘Oh, you’re so naughty!’”
Billy went on to talk about Diana’s laugh in that interview too.
“She had this terrible laugh! And I said to Rob [Reiner, director of When Harry Met Sally] later, ‘If this was a date, I’d never see her again! Just because she laughs like, ‘Eh heh eh heh.’”
