The teaser trailer (which you can watch above) doesn’t give too much about the film away, aside from the fact that it’s set in 1930 and several fan-favourite characters have returned. But the official trailer has now been released along with more plot details!
Downton Abbey, the television series, first premiered in 2010.
The period drama, which follows the intricate lives of the aristocratic Crawley family and their domestic servants, navigating societal changes and personal dramas amidst the backdrop of early 20th century England, ended up running for 6 seasons.
Then, in 2019, the first of the Downton Abbey movies was released. Three years later, Downton Abbey: A New Era, hit cinemas.
How many Downton Abbey movies did they make?
Currently, only two Downton Abbey movies have been released. But a third, titled Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale, is on the way!
