Hugh Grant was a serious heartthrob in his early career.
His endearing and lovable roles in several hit rom-coms like Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill and Bridget Jones’ Diary had women everywhere pining for him.
And Hugh’s heartthrob status remained while he continued to play charming charismatic characters, like the Prime Minister in Love Actually and the popstar Alex Fletcher in Music and Lyrics. After splitting with Elizabeth Hurley in 2000, it was years before Hugh was publicly linked with anyone — meaning he was an eligible bachelor…
However, today, Hugh is a happily married man.

So, who is Hugh Grant’s partner now?
Hugh Grant and his wife Anna Eberstein have been married since 2018.
Anna is a television producer, who was born and raised in Sweden, but relocated to London for her career.
The couple were first linked in early 2012, and by the end of that year, the couple welcomed their first child together into the world.
Hugh and Anna then dated for several years before tying the knot in a private ceremony at the Chelsea Register Office in London on May 25, 2018.
“It’s really nice [being married], I can’t pretend it isn’t,” Hugh said shortly after his wedding during an appearance on the US Today show.

“I should have done it before. I’m just lucky; I’m lucky. I’ve got a great wife. I love her.”
Who is Hugh Grant’s ex-wife?
Hugh had never been married before marrying Anna, so he doesn’t have an ex-wife.
However, as aforementioned, Hugh did date Elizabeth Hurley — for over 12 years!
The couple first met in 1987 and broke up in 2000, but they stayed on extremely good terms.

In fact, Hugh is godfather to Elizabeth’s son Damian Charles.
How many biological children does Hugh Grant have?
Hugh is the proud father of five children.
He welcomed his daughter Tabitha Xiao Xi (Xiao Xi means ‘happy surprise’) Grant in September 2011 with Tinglan Hong.
A year later, in 2012, Hugh became the dad of two more children.
In September of that year, Hugh welcomed a son named John Mungo Grant with his now-wife Anna and in December, he welcomed a son named Felix Chang Hong Grant with Tinglan. Yes, Hugh got Anna and Tinglan pregnant around the same time.

In December 2015, Hugh’s fourth child — a daughter named Blue Grant — was born; and in March 2018, Hugh’s fifth child — a daughter named Lulu Danger Grant — was born. Hugh shares both of those girls with his now-wife Anna and revealed the reasoning behind their names in October 2024 while on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Before Blue was born Hugh and Anna asked John what to name her. “And he said ‘Blue’, because that was his favourite colour,” Hugh told Jimmy.
As for Lulu, Hugh explained her middle name is a nod to a line in the Austin Powers film International Man of Mystery.
“We thought it might be nice for her when she was older if she could say in bars that her middle name is Danger. So, her name is Lulu Danger Grant. Austin Powers, you know?”
