If you’re in the mood to watch Ms Bell do what she does best (act), never fear.

We’ve rounded up the best Kristen Bell movies and TV shows as well as how you can watch them in Australia.

veronica mars

Veronica Mars

Veronica Mars is such an underrated show, which is a shame because it’s the best project Kristen has ever done – at least, in my opinion. The show follows a sarcastic teen who uses the skills she learnt from her private investigator dad to solve various mysteries, including the murder of her 16-year-old best friend.

Kristen is incredible in the titular role and the show itself is expertly crafted; the direction, the plotlines, the dialogue – it’s all just wonderful. Although, the fourth season which was released 12 years after the series’ third season ended is not as good… I personally just watch Seasons 1-3 and the movie, which was released in 2014, and pretend that’s the end.

Stream Veronica Mars on Prime Video from $6.58/mth, with a 30-day free trial.

frozen

Frozen

If you’ve got children or grandchildren, you know Frozen. Actually, scratch that. Everyone knows Frozen – in 2013, when it was first released, you couldn’t go anywhere without hearing Let It Go.

Kristen voices Princess Anna in the delightful animated film, which is well worth a watch (and/or re-watch).

Stream Frozen on Disney Plus from $13.99/mth.

forgetting sarah marshall

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Looking for a comedy that’ll just make you belly laugh? This is the film for you. Kristen plays Sarah Marshall, an actress who breaks up with her boyfriend Peter – a musician played by Jason Segel.

To get over the breakup, Peter heads to Hawaii but by happenstance ends up staying at the same resort as Sarah and her new man. Chaos and hilarity ensue.

Stream Forgetting Sarah Marshall on BINGE from $10/mth, with a 7-day free trial.

Kristen Bell movies and TV shows - you again

You Again

Kristen along with Jamie Lee Curtis, Sigourney Weaver and Betty White star in You Again; so talk about a stellar cast.

The film follows Marni Olsen, played by Kristen, a young woman who is devastated to learn that her brother is marrying her high school bully.

Stream You Again on Disney Plus from $13.99/mth.

Kristen Bell movies and TV shows - burlesque

Burlesque

Kristen is known for her beautiful, blonde locks but she looks mighty good in Burlesque as a brunette. The film stars Cher and Christina Aguilera but Kristen steals the film in her small, somewhat villainous role.

Kristen Bell movies and TV shows - bad mums

Bad Mums

Bad Mums follows three mothers who realise being a modern day mum is hard, so they decide to ditch their conventional responsibilities and instead have fun and self-indulge.

Kristen along with Mila Kunis and Kathryn Hahn star as the three mums, while Christina Applegate plays the evil head of the PTA. If you’re looking for a film to giggle at over a glass of wine, Bad Mums is for you.

Stream Bad Mums on Prime Video from $6.58/mth, with a 30-day free trial.

Kristen Bell movies and TV shows - the good place

The Good Place

If Veronica Mars isn’t the best project Kristen has ever done, then it’s The Good Place. The series follows Eleanor, a woman who has died and woken up in ‘the good place’. The problem? Eleanor knows there’s been some sort of mistake and does everything she can to stay there, despite knowing that she should’ve gone to ‘the bad place’.

The comedy series – which at times is also a beautifully heart-wrenching and philosophical tear-jerker – stars Kristen as well as Ted Danson, William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, D’Arcy Carden and Manny Jacinto.

Stream The Good Place on Netflix.
