Another Liane Moriarty book is officially getting adapted into a TV series!
The screen rights to the author’s latest book, Here One Moment, have just been secured by Nicole Kidman’s production company.

There are multiple television shows based on books written by Liane Moriarty:
Big Little Lies
The first adaptation was Big Little Lies. Based on the book of the same name, the series follows a group of mothers whose perfect lives aren’t actually so perfect and stars Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley, Zoë Kravitz and Laura Dern.

Nine Perfect Strangers
Next came Nine Perfect Strangers. The book and tv series adaptation follows nine strangers who attend the wellness resort Tranquillum House. Nicole Kidman starred in Nine Perfect Strangers too.

Apples Never Fall
Apples Never Fall was the third Liane Moriarty book to be turned into a TV series. It follows the Delany family, who are rocked when their matriarch mysteriously disappears, and stars Sam Neill and Annette Bening.

The Last Anniversary
As an Australian author, most of Liane’s books are set in Australia.
Despite this, all of the TV adaptations have been set in America; for instance, the Sydney’s Northern Beaches setting in Big Little Lies was changed to California for the series.
However, The Last Anniversary will be the first TV adaptation to keep the Australian setting.
The series, which is yet to be released, will follow Sophie Honeywell – a young woman who unravels a 70-year-old mystery when she inherits a house – and star Teresa Palmer, Miranda Richardson and Danielle Macdonald.
The Husband’s Secret
In May 2017, it was announced that Blake Lively would star in a film adaptation of the Liane Moriarty book The Husband’s Secret. The film is still in production though and a release date has still not been set yet.
What is the new Liane Moriarty show?
Here One Moment
As aforementioned, Liane’s book Here One Moment – which was only released on August 29, 2024 – will officially be turned into a TV series.
Blossom Films, a production company helmed by Nicole Kidman and Per Saari, won the screen rights to Here One Moment.
“I’m so happy for the ongoing partnership with Liane and so grateful to count her amongst my closest friends and collaborators,” Nicole told Deadline of the news.
At this stage, no release date or cast list for the Here One Moment adaptation has been released as it’s very, very early days.
