Yes and no. The Arconia is a real-life building but it’s called The Belnord.
Located at 225 West 86th Street on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, The Belnord was built between 1908 and 1909.
It’s a New York City designated landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Is Only Murders in the Building based on anything?
It seems like most TV shows and films these days are based on a book or video game, but not Only Murders in the Building.
The idea for the show was originally conceived by Steve Martin in 2011 – ten years before Season 1 premiered.
Steve’s original idea was about three old men who love solving crime, but due to their age and lack of mobility, decided to just solve crimes in their building.
As the idea developed, he changed one of the men to a younger woman to better balance out the trio.
Ultimately, the series was created by Steve and John Hoffman, and it was first announced to the public in January 2020 as an untitled series that would star Steve as well as Martin Short.
In August 2020, Selena Gomez was cast and filming began in December of that year.
