Whenever Prince William and Princess Catherine step out for a royal engagement, we’re always keen to catch a glimpse of the future King and Queen. But when their three children, Prince George, ten, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, accompany them, it’s an even bigger deal, and royal fans can’t help but gush over the adorable family.
Indeed, one such royal fan even told Prince William how much she loves his daughter.
PEOPLE reported that when the woman remarked that Princess Charlotte was her favourite, a diplomatic William responded: “Yes, she is lovely — just like my wife”.
Princess Charlotte is frequently compared to the Windsor side of the family, with some remarking that she is the spitting image of her dad, however, we’ve noticed quite a few times when the young princess resembles her charismatic and chic mum, Catherine, Princess of Wales.

The royal mother-daughter duo have often donned colour-coordinated outfits over the years, but that’s not where the similarity ends.
We have to agree with William that both of the “lovely” ladies in his life have that same charm with royal crowds.
Rather than shying away from the cameras and attention, they take it all in their stride.

Princess Charlotte’s 10th Birthday
For Princess Charlotte’s 10th birthday, the Prince and Princess of Wales’ Instagram account shared a gorgeous photo of the young princess. In the photo, she appears to be the perfect combination of both her parents. However, her love of nature is so apparent in the chosen photograph. Princess Catherine is well-known for her love of nature and her role with the Scouts. So not just in appearance is she like her mum, she’s like her in character as well!
While her smile is totally reminiscent of her father’s, her long locks and joy at nature are just like her mother’s.

In what could arguably be described as the first time the resemblance between these two has been uncanny, Catherine and Charlotte attended the Wimbledon Men’s Single final. Between their similar reactions as spectators, to body language and funky glasses, these two were the mirror image of each other.

Almost six months after laying low due to her ongoing cancer battle, Princess Catherine made her first public appearance at the 2024 Trooping the Colour. Both Catherine and Charlotte wore coordinated navy blue and white outfits.

The mother-daughter duo stepped out on December 25, 2023 for the Christmas Morning Service at Sandringham Church. They both rugged up in winter coats and walked in stride with each other. This was the last official time we saw Catherine until her first public appearance at the 204 Trooping the Colour.
