Prince William’s 2023 Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony has officially kicked off in Singapore – with some impressive guests in attendance.
Case in point: Robert Irwin, son of the late Aussie icon Steve Irwin and new co-host of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Here!, was among the guests.
The young Wildlife Warrior was all smiles as he walked the green carpet with his girlfriend Rorie Buckey, the niece of the late Australian actor Heath Ledger, before he ended up speaking with the Prince of Wales just before the awards ceremony began.

Then, later in the evening, Robert presented one of the Earthshot Prize Awards.
Cate Blanchett, the two-time Oscar winner, also attended Prince William’s event.

She wore a gold and silver three-piece suit made up of a recycled lurex metallic brocade vest, tailored jacket and wide-leg trousers from Stella McCartney, and posed with the future King on the green carpet.
Cate, like her fellow Australian Robert Irwin, also presented one of the Earthshot Prize Awards later in the evening.

Hannah Waddingham, of Ted Lasso fame, and Sterling K. Brown, star of This Is Us, hosted the event.
The Earthshot Prize Awards – presented by The Earthshot Prize Foundation and The Royal Foundation – are annually awarded to individuals and/or organisations who are providing impactful and sustainable solutions for Earth’s environmental problems and a charity dedicated to delivering global change.

They were first launched in 2020 by Prince William and David Attenborough, and currently, William is the President of The Earthshot Prize Council.
The 2023 winners of the Earthshot Prize Awards were Accion Andina, GRST, WildAid Marine Program, S4S Technologies, and Boomitra; each will receive £1 million (roughly AU$1.9 million) to scale their climate and environmental solutions.
